STROUD, September 26, 2007  –  A Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Trust Forum is being held by the Gloucestershire Constabulary next month as part of their commitment to  embracing the needs of local communities.

Stroud will host its first forum at the Lock Keepers gay pub in Wallbridge Lock between 7pm and 9.30pm on Thursday, October 4.

The forum is open to the public and is an opportunity to discuss any LGBT community issues with officers from the Stroud division of Gloucestershire Police.

“This is the first of hopefully many forums to be held in the division,” commented Acting Sgt Jo McCulloch.

“We hope the public take this opportunity to come and discuss with local officers face-to-face any issues or concerns they may have.

“Members of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Trust will be there and can be spoken to in confidence,” she added.
