PROVIDENCE, September. 1 (U.S. Newswire)  –  The gay community in Providence, Rhode Island now have a dedicated web site that will reflect their community.

EDGEprovidence.com, which was launched today, will deliver eight major LGBT channels of information to its readers, including daily local/national news, weather, arts & entertainment, heath & fitness, style, sports and travel.  

An additional channel provides local coverage of nightlife, shopping, lodging, dining, plus a business directory and calendar of events.

The site joins a family of market-leading online publications currently serving up ten million pages to more than 140,000 unique visitors per month that includes EDGEboston.com (Boston MA), EDGEptown.com (Provincetown MA) and EDGEnewengland.com (the company's regional publication for New England).
