New York’s Famous Gay Pair Call It a Day

Roy and Silo Split Up

COMMENTARY

We all know that these days love often fades and couples, whether gay or straight, split up.  News came today via many British newspapers that Roy and Silo, arguably New York City’s most famous gay “item”, have decided to call it a day.

From newspaper reports, it appears that Roy has decided that he is straight after all (yes, it does sometimes happen to a few of us).  And he is said to have got himself a girl friend who recently moved to New York from California.

One British newspaper even went so far as to suggest that he had gone through reparative therapy, of the kind offered down Memphis way.  However, our “spies” in The Big Apple dismiss this report.  We are told that Roy came to his decision of his own free will, with not a Christain fundamentalist in sight.

But what about Silo?  Reports suggest he is still very much gay – and that he has taken a “shine” to several youngsters in his neighbourhood, but is yet undecided which of them to hook up with.

As for Roy, he might live happily ever after with his new lady friend, or he might become an ex ex-gay.  It’s entirely Roy’s call and we certainly won’t try to influence his decision.

Can’t remember Roy and Silo?

They are the two gay penguins in New York zoo.  Well, one of them is ex-gay now.

They only question remaining is how long it will be before the anti-gay protagonists come up with some statement.
