Nottinghamshire Pride in Pictures.  30 photos from the Pride March in Nottingham.

July 18: Russia:
One Dead and Two Injured in Brawl Outside Moscow Gay Club.   One man died and two were injured in what police are describing as “a brawl” close to the Central Station MSK gay club in downtown Moscow last night.

July 13: USA:
BBC America Boots Christian Values Network.   BBC America has terminated its involvement with a faith-based website which helps fund so-called ‘gay hate’ religious groups through an online shop which offers goods and services from over 800 companies and organisations.

BBC Unwittingly Helping to Finance American Religious Gay ‘Hate’ Groups.   The BBC, through its BBC America commercial operation, is unwittingly helping to financially support a number of “gay hate” groups, it emerged yesterday.

July 8: France:
Gay Activists Arrested Outside Russian Embassy in Paris as They Tried to Deliver Petition Against Moscow Pride Violence.   Total of five arrested, and four released after a short time. Nikolai Alekseev detained in cells, but eventually released almost 11 hours after arrest. The full story, as it happened.

July 5: UK:
A “Shameless” 21st for Gay Pride in Manchester.   A short film featuring some of the cast of the hit TV show Shameless has been commissioned by Manchester Pride to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the festival, which takes place this August Bank Holiday Weekend.

July 3: Belarus:
Lesbian Fired by Her Employer on Retuning from Slavic Gay Pride in St. Petersburg.   A leading Belarus lesbian activist has been fired by her employer after returning from St. Petersburg in Russia where she attended last weekend’s Slavic Gay Pride.

July 2: UK:
Pride London 2011 in Pictures.   More than 90 photographs from the 40th annual Pride London parade on six pages.

July 1: UK:
On Eve Of Pride London, Protestors Demand Council of Europe to Suspend Russia Over Gay Pride Bans.   The banning of Moscow Pride and arresting participants is both illegal in the country’s constitution and defies a ruling of the European Court of Human Rights, human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell of Outrage! said this evening.

July 1: UK/Worldwide:
Gay, Lesbian and Transgender Youth at Risk of Forced Marriage, Charity Says on Eve of Pride London.   Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender young people must be protected from forced marriage, a charity has warned ahead of London’s Pride parade tomorrow.  A new report from Plan UK reveals that one girl is married off every three-and-a-half seconds worldwide – and young men and boys are also at risk.
