In Group matches, two points are awarded for a win, one to each team for a draw (tie), an no points for a loss.  If at the end of Group play two or more teams have the same league points then the final order is decided as follows:

1. If two teams are tied, the result of any head to head competition between those teams;
2. The team with the highest point differential between for and against;
3. The team scoring the most points;
4. The team scoring the most tries; then if still tied or if an accurate tally of tries is not available:
5. The team scoring the most converted tries; then if still tied or if an accurate tally of converted tries is not available:
6. The team travelling the furthest distance;
7. If both teams travelled similar distances (within 25 miles): the toss of a coin.
