Throughout the UK Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender History Month Throughout
February
Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans History Month in thr United Kingdom takes place every year in February. It celebrates the lives and achievements of the LGBT community. The group is committed to celebrate its diversity and that of the society as a whole by  encouraging everyone to see diversity and cultural pluralism as the positive forces that they are and endeavour to reflect this in all we do.

Vilnius, Lithuania Baltic Pride Meeting and Films Day March 13-15 A three-day conference which includes planning for May's Baltic Pride in Vilnius and evening screenings of LGBT-interest films.

Exeter, England Exeter Pride March 27 March 27 Exeter's second Pride focuses on "having Pride in our City and our City having pride in the LGBT communities here". All of the events throughtout the day are free.

Vilnius, Lithuania Baltic Pride May 7-8 May 8 Political discussions, cultural events, a social program and, of course, also the "march for equality" in central Vilnius is planned for 1 pm on Saturday May 8. 

Manchester, England Queer Up North Festival May 18 - 31 Queer Up North is Manchester's international queer festival. The first of its type in Europe, Queer Up North commissions, produces and presents a diverse, annual programme of live performance, art and ideas.  Note minor change of dates
Brussels, Belgium Belgium Lesbian & Gay Pride May 15 May 15 Details to be announced.
Berlin, Germany Berlin Pride and Christopher Street Day Parade May 28 to June 20 June 19 Three weeks of events (many cultural) ending with the 'Christopher Street Parade' which will finsh at the Brandenburg Gate, where the Pride Finale will take place until midnight.

Blackpool, England Blackpool Pride May 15-16 To be confirmed The fifth Blackpool Pride.  Detail have yet to be finalised.

Birmingham, England Birmingham Pride May 29-30 May 29 Details to be announced. But, following the success of the re-vamped 2009 Pride in England's 'second city', the event is expanded to three days over the Spring Holiday weekend.
Moscow, Russia Moscow Pride May 29 May 29

All previous attempts to stage Moscow Pride have been vetoed by the Mayor.  But a couple of years ago, organisers did manage to outwit the authorities when a dozen or so activists staged a short march of some 200 metres, complete with a banner.  No details of plans, other than the day, are yet available for 2010.

  London, England Pride London June 19 to July 3 July 3 Confirmed dates for the capital's Pride as they head rowards World Pride just before the London Olympics. As usual, there is a massive parade (one of the largest in the world) on the last day of a 2-week "festival"

Helsinki, Finland Helsinki Pride June 28 to July 4 July 3 GLBT culture week’s programme will be published a few months before the event. The event week is organized by Helsingin seudun Seta ry (HeSeta) organization.

Derby, England Derby Goes Pink July 10 Not known The Derby Goes Pink slogan is "One Great City, One Great Pride".  Event is staged at the Bass Recreational Ground. Derby
  Warsaw, Poland EuroPride 2010 July 9 - 18 July 17 Back in 2004, the then Mayor of Warsaw (now the President of Poland) refused permission for a Gay Pride. Then came the European Human Rights Court decision and 2005 saw the first Pride Parade in the Polish capital. The Warsaw City Council encouraged an application to host 2010 Europride.  For those in the UK planning to attend EuroPride, Aer Lingus has flights from Gatwick to Warsaw for £83 return including taxes.

Belfast, Northern Ireland Belfast Pride Festival July 24 - 31 July 31 Details of the 20th Belfast Pride are not yet available, apart from the date. But planning is well underway.

Stockholm, Sweden Stockholm Pride July 26 to 31 July 31 For 2010, 'Pride Park' will move from its traditional location in Tantolunden to the Museum of Naval History park located at Gärde.

Köln (Cologne), Germany Gay Games VIII July 31 to

Opening Ceremony July 31 The motto is “Be part of it!” And the invitation is open to everyone – regardless whether you are heterosexual or homosexual, male, female, transgender or transsexual, and regardless of religion, nationality, ethnic heritage, political convictions, athletic skills, physical capabilities, age or physical condition.  Not just a sporting event, but there are also cultural events.

Reykjavik, Iceland Reykjavik Gay Pride August 5 - 8 August 7 NOTE: new dates. Perhaps no other Pride in the world is as popular with the public.  In 2009, around 80,000 attended Reykjavik Pride.  The population of Reykjavik is 120,000 ... and the population of the country is 306,600!

Stoke-on-Trent, England Stoke Pride August 7 Not known Organised by the LGBT Network in Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.  Details to be announced.

Telford, England Telford Pride August 8 Not known Due to open Telford Pride are "Emmerdale" stars Aaron Livesey and Adam Barton.  Then, on the stage will be "X Factor" finalists Bad Lashes.

Swindon, England Swindon & Wiltshire Pride August 14 Not known The third Pride to be staged in Swindon. No details are yet available.

Bristol, England Pride Bristol August 16 - 22 Not known Main event, at Castle Park, is on Saturday August 21, with a LGBT Fringe Festival scheduled August 16 - 22.

Manchester, England Manchester Pride August 20 - 30 August 28 Originally Manchester Gayfest, the event became Manchester Mardi Gras before taking-on its current name.  As usual, a host of LGBT events are being held in the run-up to "The Big Weekend" (August Holiday  weekend).  Details to be announced.

Cambridge, England Pink Festival August 21 Not known Details to be announced.

Doncaster, England Doncaster Pride August 21 Not known A new decade brings new horizons for Doncaster Pride which moves this year to the famous Doncaster Racecourse. The committee is not quite under starters order, but they are all saddled-up and busy organising the finer points for the event which last year attracted over 8,000.

Reading, England Reading Pride September 4 Not known Reading Pride 2010 — Bringing the heart of Reading and the Thames Valley's LGBT community together.  And the event, held in Kings Meadow Park, attracts over 10,000. A free event.

Cardiff, Wales Iris Prize Festival for LGBT short films October 6 - 9 The Iris Prize – Cardiff’s International gay and lesbian short film prize - is open to any short film which is by, for, about or of interest to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or intersex audiences and which must have been completed within 2 years prior to the submission deadline.  Submissions open for the 2010 competition in January 2010 and close in early July.
